How to Be A Good Person For Your Better Half?

How to Be A Good Person For Your Better Half?

I have firsthand experience of not only wanting to be a good person for my better half but actually needing to become a better person

I learned to be a good person when our relationship hit a bit of a rough patch and it had a lot to do with what was going on in my life at the time.

I’m not going to go into great detail about what caused us to have issues, but it fundamentally came down to me neglecting her, taking her for granted, and not giving her enough of my time. Fortunately for me, she is very open about things and made it clear that I needed to change, which is exactly what I have done.

A lot of my changes have come from GoMarry.com, who has shown me with their articles that it is easy to become a better person and to have a better relationship. I took the lessons I have learned, applied them to my relationship, and we are now happier than ever.

Now, I am going to give you some of the things that I have changed, to be a good person for my better half.

Time

You need to make sure that you are giving your better half the time they deserve. If your friends are all going out together but your partner wants you to stay home, don’t see it as her being needy. Accept the fact that she should be the most important person in your life, so she should come first.

Whether it is just sitting on the sofa watching TV, or going out for a nice, romantic meal, it is so vital that you spend quality time with your partner. Giving them the time shows them just how much they mean to you and will improve your relationship no end.

Help

Make sure that you give your better half the help that she needs, no matter where it is or what needs doing, especially around the house.

If you see that cup or plate in the sink, wash it up.

You see those dirty clothes in the laundry basket, push them in the wash.

If the floor is starting to get a bit grubby, get the mop out and clean it.

Don’t just wait for your better half to do it. Pull your finger out and start doing more around the house, to make things easier for everyone. Your partner will love you for it and your relationship will blossom.

Passion

That raw passion from the early days of a relationship doesn’t last forever and things do naturally die down. However, that doesn’t mean that you have to stop being passionate all together. Just a general kiss and say “I love you” is going to go a long way.

Hold her hand, just because. Give her a hug for no reason other than you love her. Tell her she looks beautiful. Make her feel that she is the most beautiful and most important woman in the world. By becoming a better you, you will have a better relationship.
